How to get a shiny pokemon in the beginning of the game is it true or is it fake?

Ok I have heard you can get a special colored pokemon at the start of the game by saving in front of were you spot or get pokemon. If you keep doing the same thing over will it work or not?

yea if u restart ur game alot of times right at the begining, u might get a shiny starter but its reeeeaaaaaallly rare

Yes, you can. Keep turning off and on until the Pokémon is in different color.

To get a starter, you soft reset before getting it a lot.  Really, a shiny could show up at any time with a 1/8192 chance of it happening.  You just keep trying until it happens.  And when people say a lot of times, they mean A LOT of times.  Even if you do it 8192 times, you still only have like a 60% chance of it happening.

you have a 1/8192 chance to get a shiny starter, so unless you want to restart you game many times, i would suggest you don't try
