How to get a stockist and set up a stand for my handmade jewellery?

Hi everyone,

basically I run a small online ebay store where I sell my handmade jewellery however I want to look into ways to expand my business and get more sales. Getting a stockist for my items and running a stand at the annual show where I live are some things I've been considering but I don't know where to start. Does anyone have any ideas or advice for me on these matters?

I'm thinking the best way to try and find a stockist would be to go in, talk to them and present myself and bring with me a portfolio showing my items and prices. I'm a pretty shy person though and never done stuff like this before so I'm only just guessing here, so yeah any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot people,

Gemma.

  1. All the shows I have attended in the past have their own rules. So my suggestion would be to contact them for the contract and follow their rules. Some places have you send in pictures of your work and your booth set-up so they know what it looks like. Good Luck ;)))
