  2. play in national events and do well

  3. I'm D1 full ride tennis player.  You defnitely need to play USTA tourneys.  Play sectional tournaments and if you do well, try to get into some national tournaments.  Also make a video of yourself playing and send it out to coaches along with a bio about yourself with information about your academics.

getting a D1 scholarship isn't easy, especially since D1 tennis is being flooded more and more with international players.

playing #1 for your high school or even winning your district or region doesn't really mean much anymore... sorry brahh, so start playing USTA tournaments.

there's also a website that rates junior players called

www.tennisrecruiting.net <---  a lot of coaches use it to monitor a players progress.

    good luck

  4. find a web site to put your profile on

or you can talk to the colleges in your area directly

  5. Honestly... you need to drop high school tennis and start playing national tournaments.  National Opens, sectional tournaments, hopefully some Super Nationals, etc.  That is just for Division 1 though, not many D2 or NAIA schools send scouts out.  For those schools you will need to contact the coach and go for a visit.  The same goes for D1 schools, but they sometimes send scouts to big tournaments.  Good luck getting that scholarship!
