How to get a tone/flat stomach?

i'm a vegetarian !!!!!!

workout routie:

weight lifts

200 crunches

30 min cardio

100 bikes

100 side crunches

100 squats

100 leg lifts

60 push ups

im tone and i like everywhere else but my stomache.....im a vegetarian if that matters???

  1. i'm vegetarian too. good on you. being vegetarian is helpful because you have less cholestrol and fat problems. but your genes determine where your body fat is stored (men around the midsection).

    your doing enough to have a flat stomach and if your toned everywhere else you should have a flat stomach.

    either way its called visceral fat. its the fat around your belly.

    the crunches are good for hardening your core but nothing is going to show as long as your still have fat to cover it up.

    you need to work it off.

    interval training. read up on it . its too long to explain. google it.

    basically work on your cardio to burn off visceral fat and the best way to dothat is interval training. better than your 30 minute well paced cardio.

    keep with the crunches. 200+100+100?

    make sure your working each quadrant. 100 lifts lower good. 100 side crunches (external obliques) not necessary.

    the 200 regular crunches? make sure your working 100 on each middle and upper not just upper.

  3. If you have had a kid or anything, belly fat can be really stubborn. If not, it still can be hard to get rid of the last of that jiggle. For whatever reason, sitting in the sauna actually seems to help, other than that, the thing that helps me is pole dancing, crunches on an ab chair, only eating one salad a day (only for a short number of days), running, and boxing. Is your workout routine for what you do in a week or in one day, because it seems like a lot.

  4. Crunches don't really do much to make you lose weight.  Most people already have strong ab muscles, the problem is fat covers them up!  Do more running/weight training and less crunches.
