How to get a turbo sound?

Question

I want to get a turbo sound for my 2001 saturn sl2, but they dont make turbo's for saturns. Can I just get some kind of blow-off valve to get me that sound without having a turbo? or what can I do.

Please don't say a TURBO WHISTLER!!

you have to get a turbo to get a turbo sound. Blow off valves release excess gas from turbo.  They make turbo kits for saturns you just have to look.If you cant find one you can make one from scratch like a t3 turbo, i personally dont think its worth the hastle yould rather get a mitsubishi gst or gsx but as the guy said above an intake may get you close because it makes a wining sound but thats cause of the increased air flow.

you can add a turbo if you build the kit from scratch, might require a little custom work but I'm sure it's very possible!

Also, why are you against the turbo whistle? (just message me about that one because I might not see if you answer on here)

Sorry to tell you that you will not get a turbo whistle without in fact having a turbo. You can get close to a whistling noise by installing an intake but that is about as close as you will get to anything sounding like that. I say save your money and then buy a car that has a turbo.

not sure the name of the company, but i've seen a thing you can buy that just makes the b.o.v. sound. wtf? who just wants the sound?
