How to get a1MB or less photo ?

Question

I tried to upload a photo to play with makeovers but the site wouldnt accept it 'cause it is not 1MB or less. How can I change the format of this photo???

1) Open the photo in MS Paint

2) File-->Save As...

3) Under where you name it, there's a drop down list for file types

4) Choose JPG as the file type

5) Save

Or I guess the other way is to lower the megapixels on your camera. You should be able to turn down the megapixel quality in the camera options. This will make the file size of your pics smaller, but of course also reduce quality.

There's so many ways, one way to reduce the size of photo is thru Paintbrush:

- Go to Programs > Paint (or u may right-click the file, select Open with Paint)

- Open the photo

- Click from menu Image > Stretch/Skew

- Type in Horizontal and Vertical desired size, i.e. 25 % (size now of a - 2MB file reduced to 49 KB, depends on how much % you type in)

- Save the file.
