How to get accepted in independent study

im a junior in highschool i live in california, i wanna know what are good reasons to get accepted in independent study, i dont wanna lie but i need to be accepted, reasons i wanna get accepted is i have a job, but i dont think thats a good enough excuse

You can start independent study simply because you want to do this.
