How to get alot of myspace friends?

ok so im in a band called The 12th Time's a Charm and we wanna get heard by as many people as possible and have alot of fans on myspace music. whats the best possible way to achieve this?

You can just add random people by browsing for them or you can visit a signed band profile and add people who leave comments and tell them that "I know you're a fan of (band's name) and you would be interested in (whatever you have to say).

I sometimes like to add singed bands, and minutes later unsigned bands add me. Sometimes they're Myspace friends with the band and they check if they have new friends even if they don't have a signed band. they can still check if they have new friends.
