How to get an A on AP U.S. History?

hey guys, i will be a junior this august, and i'm looking for advice to get an A on AP U.S History. last year i got a B+ on AP Euro, but i really want to get an A, so, any adice would be appreciated!

  1. Alright, I got an A in US History AP and a 5 on the test so I hope this helps you.

    Get a one of those flip-o-matic AP Hist quiz books. They work like a charm. And actively read your chapters in the book. Use post-its and write comments or observations, or outline the chapter when you finish so you get the idea of each era. The goal is to make sure you can connect one fact to the next.

    Also for essays the key is connections and support. Always follow a concrete detail or fact with at least 2 sentences of commentary. Always dig deeper and have your last commentary connect to your next concrete detail. Oh and most importantly MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD THESIS.

    And he best way to do a kick *** essay is to outline first.

    Remember, studying techniques are unique to everyone so you have to pick and choose what works best for you. What makes all the info comprehensible.
