How to get and keep a tan?

So I have this olive/slightly red Sicilian skin, but since I have been spending more time inside for dance rehearsal I have lost my tan. Is there any way I can get a tan and keep it without using self-tanner or spending hours in the sun?

If not, what are some tricks to help me look tanner?

Thanks so much!

  1. go to supertans.com and see if they have a location in your area. if they do, go there and use their orbit tanning bed. amazing results.

  2. tanning lotion

it will gradually give you a tan

    try it =]]

  3. Whenever you do have time. Take a teaspoon of honey each day bfore you go out in the sun. of course wear spf lotion. but make sure it is low. or get suntan lotion. An hour or two in the sun would be great with this trick. I've done the honey trick a lot when I wish to get a tan. Since I can't use suntan lotion or high spf lotions cause I am allergic to them, I do this.

or you can try bathing in coffee beans. Get a coffee beans mash them up, or whatever you get to make coffee. fill your bathtub with water. pour the coffee in and step in. Stay there for however long you wish till you get the desired color. Sometimes this works depending on the color skin you are. This mostly works for olive toned to medium skin.

Skip the tanning beds. The beds help develop more cancer cells causing you to get skin cancer. So forget about those. and self tanners are slightly just as bad. All the self tanners do is just clog up pores in your body and eventually you start to break out.

  4. 1.get a spray ten machine

2.go to a spray tan place

3When you go out in the sun instead of lotion put sun tan lotion

    4.stay outside more...

    Hoep I helped

  5. i use an indoor tanning bed.... i know it can increase risks for cancer, but i dont do it much. i just dont have enough time to spend in the sun to get a tan and its essintialy the same damage to your skin. its just as safe as being in the sun as long as you dont over do it. just use a level one bed and only go about 3 times a week. i also use jergens day glow lotion which has some bronzers in it, but looks completely natural. A little bit of bronzer brushed on your cheeks and lightly on your forehead (were the sun would naturally hit your face) will also help. you can also dust this lightly on the tops of your shoulder or chest when wearing something that reveals those areas. good luck!

  6. Tanning lotion, spray tan or tanning beds. Tanning beds look most natural and only takes a few minutes and a few sessions as opposed to a few hours out in the sun. But they can be dangerous. They way to look more tanned is to wear lighter colours such as white.

For that extra glimmery tanned legs put a line of gold body shimmer down the back of your calf muscle over the top of your leg moisturiser. It gives that shimmery goddess look.

  7. I recommend not exposing yourself to harmful rays. There's a new product in most tanning salons called "mystic tan". You can find out more information at http://www.mystictan.com . Anyway, it's a spray tan booth that doesn't need you to rub in and also, it's pretty safe considering you're not exposing yourself to any harmful rays. Because you don't need to rub it in, there's no worry for streakiness or dark/light spots or unevenness. It does cost money though (how much money may depend on the tanning salon), but if you really want to keep your tan, it could be a good option.
