Hi, I have a 26' Samsung TV and a 6600GT graphic card with DVI output and VGA output

i been using the VGA from 6600GT no issue with audio(from the normal sound card)

after i connect the DVI-HDMI cable to the HDTV, the audio just got disappear by itself(stop transmitting audio from the sound card)

found a workaround way to reinstall driver for the graphic card after editing the nv4_disp.inf. but there were comments saying not working for HDTV.

In fact i tried this workaround way but I still dun manage to get the sound back(maybe it only work for monitor)

and Phoenix.exe detect more than one monitor, i added both commands line into the inf file too

  1. DVI doesn't carry audio, you may need to check the TV manuel, most tvs with hdmi will devote an analog audio in to one of the hdmis on the tv in which case you would need to run a 3.5mm to rca along with the hdmi/dvi.

  2. Not sure if I'm getting the whole story but DVI doesn't carry audio signals.
