  1. Stretch a lot and practice as much as possible.

  2. Well it's pretty obvious that taking as much as you can will help you. However it's all about the basic techniques. No matter how advance you get, you need to go back and work those basic techniques as correctly as you can. All of us dance majors, even in advance, would go to beginning class so we can clean, improve, correct, and strengthen our basic techniques.

Then there's that diet you have to pay attention to. You need to feed your body correctly so your muscle will have time to recuperate and if need be, heal.

  3. keep on going with ur ballet classes and practice after school/ when you dont have ballet! (i even practice as much as i can before i leave to ballet)

the more you practice and keep up with ur technique and ballet the better youll get but this can take time so just dont expect it to happen right away and dont over work yourself otherwise youll get too tired and may get injured!

    good luck :)

  4. The best way to improve your dance skills is to take all of the classes you can. If you can take a class that is strictly theory (barre only) that would do wonders for your placement. Plie's are really one of the major factors in being a good, well-placed dancer.
