  1. practise catching smaller and heavier things!

  2. stand like 8 feet from a wall (facing away) and have a friend bounce a little ball (lax ball works) off the wall at different angles and just practice turning around as he throws and catching it off the wall. it will improve your coordination and reaction time

  3. Catching tennis balls helps with your hand-eye coordination. Also, get in as much time catching footballs as possible, with a friend or something.

  4. use bricks and just practice catching balls

  5. The best advice you can get is to talk to your Wide Receiver's coach, if you don't have one, go to a local High School and talk to their Receiver's coach after practice.

  6. ok look i have the same problem I'm wider receiver and have been dropping some footballs so i just get outside with my dad or friends or anyone who can throw a football and then start running routes and i do it with me shoulder pads and helmet on it helps me get used to catching with it on. and if u have a side that is harder to catch with then have them throw passes to that side till you get comfortable with that side as well as the other side. trust me i run routes with my shoulder pads and helmet and my catching came way better in games so good luck and have fun!

  7. Get with a friend or a person and just throw around a football. Do some fast balls, high balls, regular throws, test it a bit. Your coach should have trained you to catch, like running a 90 and catching to the sides or the back or learning when to look back and when to catch. But all in all, just catching a ball will train you.
