How to get bubble bath off my cat?

My smallest cat Molly was chasing a moth in the bathroom and in the process knocked a full bottle of bubblebath inside the bath, by the time i got upstairs she was totally covered in it and still trying to catch the moth!

I tried using a towel to wipe it off but she's went all hard and sticky now. What's the best was to get this off without really upsetting her? and if she tried l*****g it all off herself will that make her sick?

  1. You may have to give her a bath but try and avoid that. By some cat cleaning wipes and clean her. If it doesn't come out bath her depending on her size, choose either the bath or the sink. (Avoid letting her l**k it off)

  2. You will have to rinse her off.  l*****g off the bubble bath will make her sick.  Most likely it will cause vomiting and diarrhea and could have chemicals in it that are toxic.

If you can find an extra pair of hands or two, that would be very helpful rinsing her off.

    Good Luck!

  3. Put her in the washing machine.  Use warm water on the gentle cycle, then hang her up to dry so she doesn't wrinkle.  No one likes a wrinkly cat.

  4. Put some warm water in the tub and see if you can hold her in there long enough to rinse away most of the dried up bubble bath.

I'll never forget the time I was running a bubble bath and my cat went racing around and jumped into the tub. She just sat their in shock and then bolted out with bubbles a'flamin.  It was funnier than heck and she survived the episode!

  5. Put on a nice pair of thick kitchen gloves and rinse her.

  6. It probably will make her sick with l*****g it.

The only way I know, is to put her in the tub and just rinse it off.

You can try to wrap her in a small towel to hold her so she doesn't scratch you.

Ok, so she won't like it, but it will probably make her sick and make her fur real sticky!

Did she get the moth after all that? lol

    :-)

  7. lol! Awww! I'm guessing she's all squeaky clean now and smelling all lovely and clean!

  8. hold her by the scruff of the neck (it wont hurt her but will stop her ecaping ) and rinse her with lots of warm water then dry her off she wont like it but its the best thing to do do not let her l**k it   oh and infuter keep lids on bottles and bottles out of reach :):):):):):):):):)
