  1. What I have done is heat up water til it is very hot in a container that is larger than the glass you want to get the wax out of. then you set the glass into the water for a about 30seconds to a minute the wax will have melted just a little bit and should pop right out. Don't heat the glass with wax on the stove, if the wax should somehow get on to the stove top it could catch fire. also don't put the glass directly into the microwave, it could cause sparks because of the metal wick holder.

  2. fill the cup 1/4 full with water and put it in the microwave for about a minute and a half....once it melts into the water, pour it out and rinse with dish detergent.

  3. heat it up with a candle melter and the just dump out the wax

  4. The water doesn't need to be boiling hot. They make candles out of a wax that melts at relatively low temperatures these days, for just this kind of problem.

I would heat up a pan on low heat with about an inch of water in it, with the glasses sitting in the water. As it slowly heats up, this will eventually melt the wax without putting so much thermal stress on the glass that it breaks. At that point, remove a glass at a time with some tongs and when it's cool enough to handle without burning yourself, wipe the wax out of the candle with a paper towel. You might have to hold the glass with a folded over paper towel in your hand to work like a hot pad.

  5. Put them in the freezer overnight.  The candle wax will shrink and come loose from the glass and you just dump it out the next day.
