I'm 13 years old and I want to play volleyball for team Ontario. I was wondering how you get chosen? Is there just an open try out or do you need to be invited?

  1. If you're good enough, they'll find you.  However, it couldn't hurt to send them a highlight reel.  First, you need to be good.  Second, you need to have someone tape all your games.  Third, you cut a tape of all your best plays together.  Fourth, you find out where and whom to send the tape to and, lastly, you cross your fingers.

  2. I play in the OVA, so I'll do my best to answer for you. Do you currently play on a city club team? If yes, good! If not, join! If you are not on a team, use the following link to determine the closest team to you: http://www.ontariovolleyball.org/externa...

If you do play on a club team you will know that there are 3 levels: tier 1 tier 2 and then regionals, and then provincial Ontario's in April.

After this, they send emails concerning regional teams for Ontario. As for an official Team Ontario, I don't know of one, but try searching around the OVA website ( http://www.ontariovolleyball.org/ ) for ideas.
