  1. If you're talking Corn  straight from the garden..  all you need to do is wash the corn.. leaf the stalks on.. let dry and freeze that way.  You can wrap them in wax paper! That's sorta like adding extra leaves to the corn!   When you're ready to cook the corn.. then take it out of the freezer.  the stalks will come off easier after being frozen and slightly thawed.  Then cook the corn!     How I cook corn I let the water boil then I put the corn in the boiling water.  Element turned off.. Pot covered.. the Hot water cooks the corn! Wait about 10 minutes and corn should be cooked!

  2. You need to blanche vegetables before you can freeze them. For corn on the cob, you're best to cut the kernels off after you're done blanching. Bag the corn up as you'd like, and you can put them in your freezer. Check out the web page I included in the sources for directions on how to blanche your corn!

    Good luck!

  3. Just boil them in salty water for about 3 minutes, drain and let them cool then pack into freezer bags.

  4. I use a STEAMER... I allow 1 minute of steaming per cob or corn in the steamer, so 10 minutes is about right.  When you remove them from the steamer basket put them into ice water until cool... then bag them and freeze them

  5. Clean and wash thoroughly, remove all bad spots and silk strands from ears.Boil in water for about 6 minutes, cool and freeze.
