How to get cut arms??

I'm pretty strong for a 13 year old because I do about 30 push-ups an hour, but my arms just expand and gain muscle, but they don't make me look cut. What can I do to make me look cut?

  1. If you want cut arms, take a knife and cut them. Duhh.


  2. Use light weights and do lots of reps...that will help get rid of any fat and build the necessary muscle to be cut.  Though you are 13 so just starting puberty probably so you won't see as much muscle development as someone older.  But keep working at it and it will get there.

    Reps (short for repetitions) are the number of times you lift the weight. So with hand weights lifting it once from the start postion to the end position is one rep.

    I think you would be at the age where using small weights would be ok.  Again some people may disagree saying it affects natural growth and development.  You can still use small 5 pound weights or whatevers comfortable.

    Push ups are great but you are not doing enough reps when doing push ups.  That's why using smaller hand weights would benefit you more because you can do more reps with hand weights.

    Personally when I use hand weights for my arms I do about 50 reps on each arm at one time.  So I pick up the weights lift them from my thigh to my shoulder (a typical curl) and then back down...I do that 50 times on each arm.

  3. more reps at lower weight to tone arms. And did you meant 30 push-ups a minute?
