How to get dis-appear/heal the black mark on the nails, when hurt in shtting the door?

by mistake, 1 week ago, my 22 months daughter kept her two fingers in the door, while shutting the door, it hurt a lot her!!! luckily, nothing much was happened, no blood, no physical rupture etc. but, blood clotted & bcom black!! so, the top portion of the nail bcom black in color, i guess, its bcoz of blood clotting??

so, does it will remail as black for ever? wht r the measures to take, to get it normal?

  1. There is nothing you can do to make it go away. But it will go away on its own as the nail grows. It should be OK as long as there is no swelling, pus, or severe pain.


  2. It is just bruised, and will take several weeks or a few months to go away.  There isn't much you can do, except make sure it doesn't turn red or drain pus. (infection)

    In time it should turn back to a normal color, when the bruising grows out.

  3. It'll be fine, it just needs to grow out, then they will look normal again

  4. yeap your right its a blood clot. When ever i have seen them for vanity purposes people stick a needle in that part of their nail and squeeze it out, magically it disappears. I obviously wouldn't recommend this for your daughter . just let it grow it out, will take a few weeks.
