How to get from Montezuma to Tamarindo?

I'm looking for a fair priced way to get from montezuma to tamarindo, other than the public bus. preferably a taxi. thanks

Hmmm...I don´t know exactly but I´m sure it will be expensive, Montezuma it´s kind of far from Tamarindo. U can take a cab from Montezuma to Paquera, where the ferry is, I´m guessing it will cost u less than $100 but it´s just a guess, then u take the ferry to Puntarenas and over there u can take another cab but that 1 I don´t know, can cost u around $150 or more. let´s put it this way, for every kilometer a taxi cab charges u 450 colones, meaning every 10 kms 4500 colones, almost 10 bucks but u can always talk to driver and see if he gives u a special price, before u jump in the first taxi cab u see, ask several drivers...Good luck and enjoy ur trip

I think the most rapid way would be one of the hotel to hotel shuttles--interbus or gray lines/fantasy tours.  They should cost around $40 per person.  Both have websites.  If you want to take public transport there is not a good direct route.  You would have to go to Puntarenas via the ferry and then from Puntarenas to Liberia and Liberia to Tamarindo.
