How to get from Sydney Airport to CBD area. Castlereagh St.?

Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me how to get from Sydney Airport to CBD area, Castlereagh St. Preferably by whatever public transport is in place (New to the City)

  1. There is a train from the airport that goes to the City Circle from the Domestic and International Terminals.  Depending on what bit of Castlereagh St you want,  you would get out at Central or Museum for the southern end, Town Hall or Wynyard or St James for the middle bit and Circular Quay for the northern bit.  You will have to walk a couple of blocks to get to Castlereagh.  If thereare two or more people a taxi is as cheap or cheaper than the train.


  2. Catch a cab directly to your destination, save yourself the hassle of getting lost.

  3. theres a train station pretty much right under the airport, and it takes you into the city circle ie. central, wynyard, st james, circular quay, town hall, museum. those stations literally circle the cbd. castlereagh is pretty long, so just get off at any of those stations (centrals first) and catch a taxi

    taxis a pretty expensive here so find out which station is closest to your destination
