  1. By Car

  2. taxi would be one way but over £100 I reckon

There should be shuttle buses Id imagine

  3. check www.nationalrail.co.uk There usually is a train at 0230 but depends on what night of the week. If not check www.nationalexpress.co.uk for coaches

  4. Take a First Capital Connect Train from Gatwick Airport.  They go through central london and out the other side to Luton Airport Parkway, where you change for a short bus ride to Luton Airport itself.

They run all night and while you may have to change trains as the one from Gatwick might terminate early, you would only need to wait on the platform for the next train which would keep going through to Luton.

    For more info, read:

  5. Unless you're travelling on a Sunday, you'll be fine. On weekdays, there's a direct train from Gatwick to Luton Airport Parkway (and a shuttle bus from there to take you to the airport terminals.)

Departs from Gatwick at 2.30am; arrives at Luton at 4.05am. The train operator's First Capital Connect. A standard single fare is £23.

On Saturdays you still get a departure at 2.30am but it takes longer because you have to change twice =( ...  But it'll still be ok for you, as it pulls in at Luton at 4.42am.

On Sundays,  the first train of the day isn't until 5.15am, getting into Luton at 6.45am. So it'd be very tight and will depend on your check-in deadlines.

All the info above comes from thetrainline http://www.thetrainline.com/default.asp?... , which I use for all my train bookings. It's a much easier website than National Rail's.

And here's confirmation that Luton airport's shuttle buses do connect with all the night trains: http://www.london-luton.co.uk/en/content...

Fingers crossed that this gives you the info you need.
