How to get from my hotel in Paris to my hotel in Beauvais?

I will be in Paris for a few days with my friends. We are then staying a night in Beauvais because we have a flight from Beauvais to Rome. I understand that I should take a train, and I have looked at the TER website. However, is it possible to access this website in English? I cannot figure out what time I have to be at the TER train station to get to Beauvais. Thank you! I will be traveling from Paris to Beauvais on May 16, 2008.

  1. Here is the full schedule:

There is an English flag at the bottom of the page. Doesn't work for me but I am using a Mac, maybe it's optimized for PC and will work for you.

As said above there are trains all day from 6:57 AM to 8:48 PM so you only need to show up at the Gare du Nord train station and buy a ticket there. It's 12 euros.

Edit: I agree with the guy above that unless you really want to visit Beauvais there is no point in staying there. You can book your shuttle from Paris to the airport there: http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/index.ph...

As for Chanteur, I reported him, he is just a spammer giving fake info to tourists and he tells them to go to places that don't even exist. Trust NOTHING he says! I did have a good laugh at a couple of his answers though!

  2. Hi!  Simply take the RER "D" from your hotel to the hotel in Beauvais.  The train leaves every 5 minutes from the nearest station.  It is free also! :-)

  3. I put a hearty vote in for Rillifane.  The bus from Porte Maillot is long and boring, but its better than killing a whole night out in Beauvais!

The RER D does *not* go to Beauvais.

  4. Have you looked at this webpage? http://www.ter-sncf.com/picardie/index.a...

It's in French but pretty obvious.

There are a lot of trains from Paris to Beauvais so its not really much of an issue as to when you go to the station other than to make sure its not too late.

NB: You didn't ask but have you really thought this out?

You are giving up your last night in Paris to spend it in a hotel in Beauvais where there is almost nothing to do.

In addition you are adding the time required to check in, get settled and subsequently, repack and check out the next morning.

Nor do you save any time or money in getting to the airport since you must add the time getting to and from the hotel Beauvais to the airport to the time you will spend either way getting from Paris to Beauvais. If you were going directly to the airport from Paris you could just take the airport shuttle from Porte Maillot in Paris (costs 13 euros).
