  1. In addition to the suggestion above, some of the busses into Washington go to Springfield, VA as the next stop.  If you get off in Springfield, you can catch the blue line right there, take it toward Largo, and you will be at National Airport in about 15 minutes.

  2. take the d4 to union station and then take the metro to national airport station. transfer to the blue line toward franconia springfield at metro center station to get to national airport. it should take about 20-30 minutes at the very most.

  3. The Red line does NOT stop at L'Enfant Plaza. Instead, follow the signs at the terminal to Union Station. On one side of 1st Street NE you'll see buildings. On the other side of the street you'll see train tracks. Follow the train tracks for 4 blocks. At Union Station take a Shady Grove-bound Red line train to Gallery Place/Chinatown. Head downstairs and take a Huntington-bound Yellow line train to Reagan National Airport. The total trip time should be at most 30 minutes.

  4. The Washington, DC Greyhound terminal is a few blocks north of Union Station. Union Station is also where the closest Metro train stops. From the bus station, walk south on 1st Street NE (or take a cab, but its only a few blocks) to Union Station (kinda hard to miss, but it will be on your left, just in case). Go to the metro station inside Union Station and get on a red line train (your only option) that is going towards Shady Grove. Take that train two stops to get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown. After exiting that train, get on a yellow line train towards Huntington. The sixth stop on that train will be the Ronald Reagan National Airport. Riding the metro will cost you $2.15 during rush hour, and $1.35 at all other times. According to the Metro's website, the journey between Union Station and Reagan National is 22 minutes, but realize that if any of the trains are slightly off schedule, it could be longer. Plus, don't forget about the time it takes to walk from the bus terminal to Union Station. I would allow 30-40 minutes for your transfer between the bus station and airport, or even 45 or 50 if you want to be safe. Have fun!

  5. Ummm. Metro. Ed line to Lenfant Plaza. then transfer to the yellow line which will take u straight there. It'll probably be about 20 - 30 mins depending on how often the trains are running. Good Luck.

  6. Metro rail!!!! Should take under 20 mins
