I live in iowa, married with 2 kids under 2, catholic, Director of Religious Education as well as a Community Support Worker at a mental health center. I want to get my master's degree in social work and I am looking for scholarships, grants, and tuition reimbursment programs. Help would be great. Thank you.

  1. For Financial Aid, apply for the FAFSA. Graduate programs only get student loans, not actually money. If you find a religious school of your same denomination they may match funding from your church. www.fastweb.com has tons of scholarships. There are some programs where you can go to a state school for 2 years and then work 4 years for the government and they pay for your education. My aunt did that at Cal State Long Beach, CA in social work.

  2. Hello how are you? You can find grants and information on grants at Scholarship Support. What I suggest that you do is use a scholarship search. A scholarship search allows you to create a profile and receive information for all the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for based on your profile description. Scholarshipsupport.com actually has 2 free scholarship searches available right now. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
