If you are professionally qualified just enter UK or Australia to work (as a doctor for example) then you can easily goto US but why, better stay in UK and OZ or New Zealand where it is better still !

You would have to qualify for an immigrant visa first. Most of these are based on family relationships, so unless your parents, brothers or sisters, or a spouse are already living in the US then this won't help you. Otherwise, if you have a high school education, you could apply for the Diversity Visa lottery program, but unless you want to wait a year, you'd better act fast. First thing: It is not correct that you have to be physically present in the US to apply for a Green Card. Correct is that if you won a Green Card (via the annual DV-Lottery) or by other means you have to travel to the US to activate the Green Card. Second but more important. What is your nationality? Not all countries and their nationals respectively are eligible to particpate in the DV-Lottery. By the way the application deadline for this year's lottery just passed.
