How to get handprints off my walls?

I run a daycare so you can only imagine what my walls look like about 2 feet up from the floor. I have tried everything to clean them and nothing is working. Does anyone have any good solutions to get grimey little handprints off my walls? And yes, I wash their hands all time!

  1. Scrubbing bubbles. Works great! Also...Pledge brings crayon off the walls.

  2. If you have washable paint on the walls magic sponge with a product called greased lighting (buy at dollar store)

  3. Clorox Clean up has removed my little one's art work with marker and crayons, as well as hand prints in everything from food grease to mud.  I use a scrubber sponge with it and gently work the area.  If you have carpet on the floors, spread a piece or two of newspaper over it before spraying - it is a bleach product.

  4. I have 4 kids and find that the magic eraser works best.

  5. If your walls have a flat latex paint, you will have to repaint the wall. If it's a semigloss, it might come off but none the less, you may want to keep a brush, roller, and paint handy for touch up. It goes with the territory.

  6. The magic eraser is definitely the solution- I had scuff marks on my walls I had been trying to remove for TWO YEARS and it worked like a charm!  The cheap ones work just as well, so if you can find a dollar store version, go for it.
