How to get him to seek help about gambling?

My boyfriend has been to the pub four times in seven days and constantly has to use the poker machines yesterday he was at the pub for ten hours straight. I love him and know I cant change him he has to do that for himself. What should I do?

Let him know how you feel about it, let him know that you believe that he's got a gambling problem, and get him some pamphlets and information from GA (Gamblers Anonymous), or any local Gambling support from your area.

Good luck, as gambling is as bad as any addiction, it may end up becoming a very large problem in your relationship, and the relationship might not be what he'll end up choosing.

But you are right, it will be up to him... most addict can't understand their addiction until they hit rock bottom, and anything you do will be "used" against you.

Take him to counseling, cancel his bank account, take his wallet, tell him he's s******g up his life.
