  1. Submit your site to Google. Have a look at http://www.ds32.com about website`desig & promotion (not a sales pitch)

  2. I'm guessing that your website is less than 2-3 weeks old.

    Indexing takes time.

The key to getting indexed quickly is to have quality unique content that is related to the overall theme of your site.  The other key factor is to have sites that have already been established in your niche area link to your site.

  3. Hi,

    1.  You can submit your website to Google.com, Yahoo.com, MSN.com, and all the other major search engines

    Google:   http://www.google.com/addurl/

    Yahoo:  http://search.yahoo.com/info/submit.htm

    MSN:  http://search.live.com/docs/submit.aspx

    2.  A much better way is to have the search engines organically find you. You can do this by obtaining links from other (related) websites.

The best way to do this (if you want #1 rankings for competitive keywords) is to find websites that relate to your company.  So if you are selling 'hand made rugs' find a website, directory, blog, news site, or forum about 'hand made rugs' and figure out a way to obtain a link...maybe a press release about your company.

If you are just looking to get listed fast, don't care if you are #1 for "hand made rugs," and just want your company to appear in Google, Yahoo, and MSN when someone types in your URL then manually submitting your website to general website directories is the way to go.

I have used SubmitinMe.com "Directory Submission" & "Article Submission" and "Press Release Submission" and "Video Submission" for clients with GREAT results. The charge pennies on the dollar.

Many times if you just want to be #1 for your company name (non-competive) (Like "Jim Bob's hand Made Rugs) using SubmitinMe.com manually submission will get you #1 in a couple weeks.

The best part about SubmitinMe.com is if you want to attempt to do submit your website yourself...they provide a free downloadable excel sheet of ALL the websites they submit to.
