  1. Step 1

Sponge the stain with water to remove as much ink as possible.

    Step2

    Allow the spot to dry.

    Step3

Set the affected area face down on a clean cloth or paper towels.

    Step4

Spray the back side of the stain with hairspray, or apply rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover.

    Step5

Blot the back side with a clean terry cloth washcloth to further remove as much ink as possible.

    Step6

    Apply laundry pretreatment.

    Step7

    Wash in warm water.

    Step8

    Air dry.

  2. u know wat one of the best is petrol (gas)...it really removes these kind of stains....but beware there would be stink on the backpack because of the petrol(gas) which you have to wash it away with perfumed detergent...

  3. If the ink marks are on vinyl or plastic, you might try to use hair spray.  It may take more than one application, but it will take it out.  Rubbing alcohol also works sometimes.

  4. The rule of thumb is: start with the mildest cleanser with the minimum amount of patting with damp cloth. Then, increase cleanser strength and dabbing with a little more pressure. Pen marks come out of most handbags with 4-0-9 and dabbing with a damp clean cloth. Try it, maybe it will work. Next, try spraying with aerosol hairspray. Let it sit for a minute, dab with a dry clean cloth. Repeat 2-3 times. Should work.

  5. Ink you use hairspray. You spray the item down heavily, then carefully tap it dry. Do not rub or you'll rub the ink around!

You have to do this many times but it will all come out in the long run.

    Good luck.
