How to get into a volleyball team?

Hey

for any one that plays volley ball or coaches a team, how do you get onto a team. Playng volleyball was my dream since i was 6 years old and now i'm 18 and i really want to play. How do I do it?

You just go to the tryouts.

Well, it depends on what team you want to join...

For a Local Club team, you just sign up..

For a Travel Club team, you try out and sign up.

For a school team, you just tryout.

If you've never played before, I would suggest a Local Club team... the 18's travel teams are usually like varsity and up level...

yup. And don't forget to practice!!! And I would also suggest buying some spandex =\ I dunno if all volleyball girls are like this, but most of the ones that I know make fun of players who wear basketball shorts to practices, scrimmages, tryouts, and such..

usually go to a lot of clinics so you can learn. volleyball is not an easy sport and it will hurttt so you have to learn before you just make a team. then go to a club tryout when you think you are ready.

you are starting pretty late. clubs only go up to the 18s division. and if your beginning you probably wont get on. no offense but thats pretty unlikely. you should have started when you were six. thats what i did.

try joining into clubs if ur a beginner...! If u have played volley ball then still clubs are the best..! they will train you acc to ur skill and ur abilitties ur will do fine.! practice more and work hard and you will do good man..!

well get to the basics....practice on your own and with the  team....

If you hadnt find team...go and find it

be prepared for the hard trainings of your new team and be yourself in the court

I had started from the academy for 2 months and the next year I got onto a team....now its my 3rd team.........and its not as easy as you think to get and fit into a team

there are a lot balks till to get into the spirit, get know your skills the your teammates, etc

for me it was very difficult at the age of 17 now I'm 21(female)
