How to get into hockey in Australia, Queensland

Next year i would love to get into hockey (2009) as i have been watching it on the olympics, and it looks great fun.. Where do i start as I'm a teenager having no idea what to do..

First, build a rink.  There are NHL rinks in Florida, Arizona, Texas, and California.  You could build them in Australia, too, and have your own hockey league.

go to hockeyqld.com.au on there you can find out where all the hockey associations in qld are eg, gold coast, brisbane.

its pretty good i used to play on the field but now im the goalie and i still get a pretty awesome adrenaline rush from it

Have a look at hockey australia web site it will point you in the rite direction for your area. My kids have been playing for 2yrs now they love it. Give it a go you will love it :)
