You can not get itunes downloads for free.  You can get other mp3 for free, but come no where close to the quality that itunes offers you especially for a measly buck.  So to answer your question no you cant get "itunes downloads" for free

download mp3s with peer to peer software and then add the mp3s to your play list , The i tunes software should do the rest

Make a iTunes account, and download the free single of the week.

As for other downloads, you can't get them free iTunes is locked up like Fort Knox to prevent things like, free downloads from happening.
