How to get lint off of black clothes?

Question

I have a black jumper that collected all of the lint in the washing machine.

How do i get it off?? its like it is STUCK on there.

I have tried tape. I have tried lint brushes.

What can i do, apart from going to get it dry cleaned???

Rewash. use fabric softener in the rinse cycle.

..."If" the adhesive-tape rollers didn't work...  "Dry Cleaning".

hand wash it  on its own
