How to get messages from home verizon home voice mail?

Does anyone know if there is a *## prompt, I can hear it beeping, I set it up but I don't know how to retrieve them.....

  1. Have you set it up yet?? Usually, when you first get it, it will prompt you for a password and message or pre-recorded generic message. Try dialing your own number and when the voicemail answers, hit the star (*) key. That should get you into the setup area. Or, call the Verizon voicemail retreival number, and enter your home phone number when asked, and you should get prompts from there.


  2. i work for verizon, dont get rid of it:). There is a voicemail access number you have to dial. Since this is the first time you are using your voicemail it will prompt you to enter your temp. passcode (last 4 digits of your home phone number.) After that, set up your personal options...if u dont have your accs number, the number for verizon is 1-800-275-2355

  3. Before I got rid of Verizon, I had the same problem. Verizon has a voicemail retrieval # for all their customer, I called that and got the voicemails that way.

    Do yourself a favor and get rid of Verizon, and go cellular.
