Question:

How to get more height.?

Please could somebody recommend some tricks to get more height in my toe touches.

  1. first what you need to do is work on getting your calf muscles stronger. when they get stronger you will get higher. to make them stronger one easy workout is to have someone put a lot of pressure on your shoulders then you need to push it up, but only to when you're on the top part of your foot. hold it there for a few seconds then repeat. do this as many times as you want, the more the better.

    second is that you should visualize yourself going higher. like when your sitting in bed think about you and your jumps going higher every time. it's a proven fact, because when you visualize yourself doing something brain waves get transfered to what you were visualizing.

    third make a goal thing, say get more height in my jumps. say that to yourself, then your brain will remember height in my jumps, so that your height really will get higher.

    fourth, stretch. stretching will always make your jumps higher.

    fifth, practice practice practice

    sixth, do explosion jumps. these will just work on getting higher. what you do is you'd do the prep likeyou always do, then instead of doing a jump (like a herky) pull your legs up and try to touch your chest. with your arms try to touch as low to your calves/ankle as you can.

    seventh, is instead of putting your arms in a T lower them just a little bit. this will make the illusion that you are going up higher and your toe touches are higher.

  3. Uh, wear 7 inch stiletto heels?  There is no way to get yourself taller deliberately, sorry:(
