How to get more mids in my car?

i have 4, 6" JL audio speakers, and 2 tweeters in my 2000 celica. they are hooked up to an alpine amp. When I play music it sounds like mostly highs and there's not enough mids. is there any way i can get more mids in my music

Go to the equalizer setting on your head unit. Turn down the higher frequency settings. Another thing is that some head units have a setting called "loudness." It tends to boost highs and lows. If you turn this off it will sound quieter, but when you turn the volume up the whole sound should be more balanced overall.
