How to get my Passion back for...?

writing. I used to write all the time, my whole life, and i loved to do it, whether it was poems or stories or lyrics. I was told i was quite good at it too, and wanted to write as a job when im older. Over the year, i just lost my passion for it. I've thought of good ideas and ways to finish my unfinished stories, but i as soon as i go to write, i just cant bring myself to do it. How do i get that passion back?

Sometimes that happens it's not unusual.  Just give yourself some time.  But at least write notes of the ideas you are having now so when you do decide to write again you will have someplace to start.  Writing well can't really be forced, it's better when it just flows out of you.

Stop thinking about it, If you are like me if i sit down and tell myself i cant do this... i wont be able to do it. There will be no way i can sit down and write a story..

Instead when you sit down think.. I know exactly what i'm going to write this is going to be the best story ever. Just really get inspired by something you wont be able to put your pencil down. With tthat note maybe it is time to look around you for some good inpriations... My lit teacher (whome i love dearly) says that it is always good to write in a journal (not a kooky diary thing) but something you can keep simple writings in. After you write a random story who knows something may just click inside and you will be like hey this is a really good topic..

As a writer, I know where you are coming from. Sometimes I go along time between being able to write poetry with passion. But like any other creator, it comes and go's. Its a passion that comes when it wants and flows just as it has never left. Just let it happen and not worry about it.
