How to get my credit report?

How can I get my credit report for a fee. I just need a very basic one. Every time I go to experian or equifax, they want me to particiapte a monthly service. I don't want the service, even if it's free.

You shouldn't go any where else other than http://www.annualcreditreport.com  for your reports.  This is the government recommended scam free site.  Everything else is a knock off.  Plus, at other sites, you get a filtered report!  You dont' get to see as much detail.  So, save yourself a headache and visit that site.

for about $50 you can get your score, credit history, everything, you can either buy a 1 time purchase, or you can buy a year membership.

I don't know either. I've tried the "free credit report" thing myself. It seems as though either want participation in a survey or a credit card number...
