How to get my dad to buy me a blackberry curve 8330?

hi i need a phone and i really like the blackberry curve 8330. its only 179 and im putting in 40 cash money ito it and ive been asking him since last january

Buddy, it's not $180. It's $280. A friend of mine just bought it and made it a point to rub the great deal in my face. I bought the 8330 a few weeks ago for about $550 (before a $50 mail-in rebate) because I was not eligible for sale pricing yet. So trust me, it's not $180 and you won't pay anywhere near that at the Verizon store. If you want a better deal, forget looking on eBay because there are no Curves there.

I just got one from at&t and i was eligible for upgrade and it was $199 before 100 mail in rebate. But i would say forget it. If youve been asking since last jan. you should have saved more than $40 by now. I say take your $40 and buy a cheaper phone.
