How to get my dsl modem to connect to my router?

i recently switch from cable to dsl and trying to connect my router to the modem. everytime i try to i does not connect or has limited connection or no connectivity. does anyone know how to fix this? thanks!

you have to type an IP adress into the i-explorer adreess to access the router and set it up that way. if you have any mannualls it should be easy. You need the user name and password saved into the router so the router can enter it.
