How to get my eyeliner not to smudge or run!?

mine is always running right on the outside corner of my eye after a while or smudging above my right eye which has hair touching it, unless i fix it a lot.

i hate liquid liners, i just dont get the same look and they always drip and its hard to put on.

is there anything i can put under or over my eyeliner so it wont smudge or start to run? or is there an eyeliner (pencil, nothing weird like the push-up ones or the liquid ones) that wont do this?

right now i just put on eyeliner then eyeshadow over the eyeliner.

heres what they look like, i cut my right eye out of 3 pics, it might help if you know how i have them i guess.

  1. Using an eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay Primer Potion, and Too Faced makes a good one too, but I don't know if they test on animals or not), where you would put your eyeliner can really help as well.

I've also found that, in my experience, using just black eyeshadow (use a small & thin brush to apply) instead of eyeliner with it works really great.

  2. try water proof stuff.. i have the same problem and started using Make Up Forever from Sephora in black in water proof, it doesnt smudge as much now.

p.s. i like how you do ur make up. ur lines are really good and straight.

  3. wow! that is some heavy eyeliner.

Anyways.. for just waterline, i'd say use the maybelline unstoppable with some black eyeshadow to set it off with. otherwise, use HIP cream liner with a really gud brush. MAC fluidline also works.

  4. EASY get a pencil eyeliner and sharpen the pencil everydat so you can still get up in those crevesises!

  5. Urban Decay eyeliners are amazing! The don't smudge and they are not tested either.  What I do is I put concealer (you can use foundation) around my eye after putting on eyeliner.  Make sure you get right to the edge of your eyeliner without covering it with concealer.  Then put powder over it.  It keeps its from smudging completely and you can basically use any brand of concealer and powder.  But you can probably do with only concealer or only powder.. I use both cause it works better.

  6. it doesn't look smudgy at all to me..

    I like it.

    :)

    Don't worry.

  7. I would suggest Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil. They do not smudge at all, and are animal-friendly. Other nice brands are Smashbox, MAC, Stila, and Dior.

  8. Use eyeshadow and the side of the applicator.

It'll never run because it's powder.  It also doesn't smear like regular liner if you rub your eye.  You might have to reapply if you rub too hard though.  But, if you rubbed to hard and smeared your regular eyeliner, you'd still have to reapply.

  9. waterproof mascara and eyeliner
