What I did was asure them that I would ride it and pay for it, and they said yes!! Good Luck!

Depending upon where you live take them along to a few mx races (club ones that others your age ride in).  As you have posted this in the Australian section I assume you are an Aussie and if so go onto whatever governing body of motorsport your state has.  For Victoria the site is motorcyclingvic.com.au and if you go to that site there are links to the other states.  You can find out what local clubs are in your area and go along with your parents to watch.  Then I guess you have to do a lot of begging.
