A teeny bit of nailpolish is on my kneepads but its noticeable. Its red, so people always think its blood or something til I correct them, even though its on the outside so they wonder how it got out there. I tried rubbing nailpolish remover with toilet paper on it to get it out and it smeared a little bit. I've washed the kneepads before in soap like 2-3 times since, and the incident occured a couple months ago, but I want ot fully clean off that stain now, and how do i get it off? :/

  1. Use the nail polish remover again but scrub it with an old toothbrush.

  2. Try non-acetone nail polish remover on a cotton ball and scrub at it a little. Toilet paper won't work to take off polish because it breaks apart too easily. You can use the acetone kind of remover, but only if it is not plastic or acrylic material or it will ruin it. If its smeared in you won't be able to chip or scrape the polish off so that would probably be your best bet.

  3. if nail polish didn't work, go to a beauty supply store and get pure acetone (the stuff u soak acrylic nails in to get them off)
