How to get nails out of the floor?

I cant get anything under the nail head so I can pull it out of the floor to see what is under this particle board.

Go get a tool called a cats paw. You can use it to get under the nail.

Try to create some space for the hammer claw with a chisel,hitting it at a 45 degree angle under the head of the nail.
