How to get out of public speaking?

I have to say a speech in front of the whole clas,, grade 11.. i am so scared.. how do i get out of it

lol - I like what the others have said, although I don't recommend the Adolf Hitler speech.

Okay, when you're in a pickle and KNOW that there's absolutely NO WAY around it . . . here's what you do: at the beginning of your speech, you tell the class/teacher that you are very uncomfortable speaking in front of many people, but will try your best to give a good speech. Most kids are uncomfortable speaking in front of crowds so they'll understand. Even if some of them laugh a bit, remember, they too have to give a speech and they'll be feeling the same as you . . .   When all is said and done, you all had to give a speech and you all were embarrassed and felt like throwing up. Now you can laugh about it and discuss the next speech you have to give :-)  Enjoy yourself! Getting a good grade simply for trying is a good feeling!!!
