How to get passed a firewall on a computer... Need Details!?

I am at work, and I'm probably one of the best worker's here but i work about 50 hours a week here, but business has been slow. Sitting here for over 8 hours a day doing nothing at all is so boring. If i had work to do i would but there is none to be done. So how do i use my msn messenger and get it passed the firewall, or go on websites such as facebook? If it helps i believe this firewall is controlled by our head office which is in a complete different city. Is there still any way?

As well telling me how wrong it is, and that i could get fired is unnecessary as i already know my consequences. Serious answers only please!

Can you get to meebo http://www.meebo.com/

You can send (and receive) msn messages from there.

The other way is to use a proxy, either with something like "hide my IP" or with one of the proxies from freeproxies.org

The proxy method is how you would get to facebook (or meebo if that is restricted).
