  1. Sandisk and Lexar are the best known memory cards for digital cameras. I am sure that the cards all pretty much perform the same, but these brands have a lifetime warranty for some of their products, so that makes me think they are built to higher standards. As far as day-to-day use, I have some generic and some of each brand I named and they all work. The contacts on the brand name cameras seem to have the equivalent of the "thunk" that you look for when you shut a car door to check it's quality, if you know what I mean. You don't wonder, "Is it in there right?" because it just feels right. I don't buy generics any more, though. I just end up getting them "with things" somehow.

Oh wait.  Is that what you were talking about?

  2. I believe they may have techniques to strengthen brain function.  But it involves using it more.  And most people that want a photographic mind tend to want it because they don't want to study.  Counterproductive.  Using it less weakens the mind.

So I would hypothosize that a photographic mind would be achieve through a great deal of study and hard work.

  3. I don't know about photographic memory, but you can train your brain to remember things more easily. Keeping your brain active with games and developing new mental skills like learning to play an instrument will improve memory. Also, some herbal supplements like ginkgo biloba have been shown to improve memory. It's ironic this was asked in the Photography section, because taking better pictures will also help, but with our brains instead of a camera. Often we forget things not because our memory is bad, but rather because our observational skills need work.

  4. Your born with it,it's not something you can learn.

  5. i knew one person with such a mind, he was born with it. and was a genius as well.  a bit of a crackpot but i suppose folk like that are entitled to be on the eccentric side.

after knowing someone like that i'm glad i'm not, he had some challenges in life...people thought of him as kind of a freak, and many people were not nice to him, (fools missed out on a pretty neat person).
