How to get pictures onto computer?

i lost the cord to attach my digital camera to the computer so i put the memory card in the computer instead. i want to put some pictures onto facebook but i dont know where to find the pics. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

or go to the start menu & look through your programs when you have the memory card in.

look for anything that has to do with your camera.

I would go to Radio Shack and get a replacement attachment, or a camera store.  That is the best way to download photos into the computer.

just click browse on facebook under chaning ur profile pic and then ur cam option should pop up. and u can upload from there.

Yep, you can directly use the memory card instead of the cord.

Just go to "My Computer," it should be on your desktop. If it's not there go to the start button, and click "My Computer."

Your memory card should be shown as a certain drive, go there and browse around to find your pics.

I am assuming you are using Windows... if it's a Mac, go to

Click Start, then click "my pictures" or and check for them there.

or you may have a special Picture Studio type of program, you can check there too.  

If you cannot find them in the above suggestions try all programs on the Start menu

You should probably try searching in My Computer (in the start menu)

explore around the folders, it might be called something like SD CARD or MEMORY CARD 48320

You should also check anything called "Removable Disk" as well.

Well, if you're new with all this, you can download PICASA. Its free and its included in the Google Pack. The software will ask you if it can scan your computer - make sure that you memory card is in - and you will have access to your picture and also, have the option to save it - crop it - play with colors, etc and make it compatible for the Internet (for the size of course)...

the moment you put the memory card into your pc it will act the same way is putthing a USB flash drive (a memory Stick) into your pc it will ask you what you want to do so just select folder view..and you should be able to copy the pics onto your computer and then on facebook

use one of these to connect your memory card to the computer:

then (if the hardware doesnt appear on its own) you should go to 'my computer" from the start menu, then you can find the memory card and select the pictures you want. click copy or drag them into a different folder on your computer. hope i helped =/

the way to find those pics is to go to the start option on the bottom left corner of the comp. screen and there should be an option called "COMPUTER", if not got to "all programs' and find "computer" there you will find a bunch of icon for things that you plug into your computer. select "SD CARD" and your pics should be in there. you can open that file up. u migh also have to download the pics to your computer first though.
