How to get popular in first year of high school.

My high school starts in a week, and I would like to have any tips on how to get popular.

You'll more than likely be popular within your class. Very few freshman are that popular unless they're dating a popular upperclassman or they have a popular sibling.

You should be focused on being yourself. If you focus on being popular, you'll end up doing what others think you should do, instead of following your own dreams.

my first year of high scool it wasnt a popularity contest we were all trying to get used to being in a new school! i think its better just sticking with your own little group of friends, cause i have friends who are popular and i never get to speen any time with them cause they are always with outher people.

but heres some ways to be popular:

-talk to every one, and try to be friends with every one (guys and girls)

-you got to be outgoing and kindda silly, and know how to laugh at yourself

that should help, and be nice to EVERYONE, life isnt like the movies, you cant be mean to every one just to be popular, nobody will like you, you will just be a bully.
